So I'm entering NATA this year. I've never done it before but I intend to make it my main priority the next few months. I've already finished the audio for it.
If I've learned anything from entering the halloween contest it's to make a submission that isn't too long. I entered my cartoon Undead Grandpa in the Halloween contest last year and while I was successful in pulling off 7th place I went through utter hell in the process. I did the whole thing in 22 coffee stained day and nights. I had requested off work for the last few days in the contest but McDonald's scheduled me anyway. I was just in over my head. The end result wasn't what I had imagined and the file size was too big so I had to lower the sound quality. Yet I came out as a stronger and better animator after all of it.
So anyways back to NATA. The open round theme is "discovering time travel", I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of submissions with the same idea.
I've come up with an idea and I'm confident no one has done it and hope that no one does it as well (besides that no idea is ever original) I'm just really content with what I have so far. I'm animating a music video based on this song I made today.

I've got 30 seconds storyboarded and plan to pull off the other 113 seconds tonight. I don't have work the next 2 days so I'm going bawls out with every second I get. Although, writing this post wasted my time. My webcomic, WHATTHEDO, is going to have to take a back seat while I run a train on dis contest.
