BrokenDeck and I started a contest for 8-bit and chiptune story driven music, THE WINNER GETS AN ANIMATED MUSIC VIDEO ANIMATED ENTIRELY BY ME SO GET GOING ON THOSE SUBMISSIONS!!!
All rules and details are in this link below!
So February 21st was my first art show, it was run through a program called RawArtists I would recommend it if you want to sell art in person. You have to sell $200 worth of tickets or buy in to do it, but you also get to do another show afterwards later in the year where you travel to another city and you don't have to sell tickets to that one. Really different for me but really fun.
Some newgrounders came out to the show Luis came out as well as Ryan. I didn't get to hang out as much as I would have liked, I spent most of the time selling comic prints and shirts but it was pretty fun and I would declare it a success.
I recently launched my WhatTheDo etsy shop, where I'm selling what I sold at my show and more.
I started making shirts and expect to make even more, so check those out.

So I've been pretty busy with a few things, for one I've been spending a lot of time on my new animated cartoon flash film. It's a Disney Starwars parody, it doesn't have much of a story but it has a few good jokes and even better artwork. I'm hoping it will be about a minute and a half long. I also intend to write all the music for it.
I've been struggling with the concept of making parodies mainly because I feel they are cheap and pandering. The sad truth is people love them and I know I liked them when I was a kid. So I have to grow an audience some how ya know? But I promised to myself I would never lower the quality of the technical animation and I would try to be creative with what I've drawn from the source material.
Besides I love Starwars and Disney movies so it's really fun, after this I'll be able to draw boba fett from memory.
So far I'm happy with what I've accomplished with it and hopefully it will be done sometime in February.
Jan 10th was my official 2 year anniversary of making webcomics.
I've been on a hiatus from my site www.whatthedo.com but I've been getting prints ready of comics and even planning on possibly releasing a book of the first 2 years of comics called WHATTHEDO Volume 1.
I'm a month away from an art show, It's run through a program called RAW Artists and is being held at a Chicago bar called the Double Door February 21st you can buy tickets here.

Hopefully I'll get around to starting a story focused animated series or doing NATA 2013 who knows.

I recently noticed a bunch of people posting some facebook guideline bullshit lately and decided to make a short cartoon about it.

I recently made a short animated clip for PuffballsUnited's NG Flash Advent Calendar. I'm day 14, so only 4 more days until you get to open it. Or you can just change the time on your computers clock to see it early.

Besides comics, Zullzee and I entered the movie jam. We were one week late but it was better in the long run to make sure it was finished. It was really fun working with Zullzee. I hope there's more movie jams they're great.

Pahgawk, Brewster and I entered the GameJam. Pahgawk was like "I'm making a game" and Brewster and I were like "OKAY WE'LL MAKE ART" so my fellow NATA artists and I made LumberJacked. It was another really fun jam. I also got my friend Ryan to do some voice work for it. Like I've said before I hope there's a lot more jams this year.

I made a rough for the art jam before I teamed up with Pahgawk and Brewster. I decided to finish it 2 weeks later for the hell of it.

I made this for the intermediate round of NATA and finally got around to finishing it. I was hoping the crudeness of the art would help the execution, I'm just glad it's done.

Making a dramatic flash wore me down during the first round of NATA so I needed to vent something stupid and humor related. So behold this new cartoon. I hope you don't take it too seriously. If you think the preloading screen is misleading then geez get a sense of humor .
